Meet Deb
Deborah Grayson Riegel, MSW, ACC is a coach, trainer and speaker who helps individuals and organizations tap into the resources and opportunities that exist right in front of them to galvanize their professional and personal success. Deborah’s clients range from Fortune 100 companies to entrepreneurial start-ups, and span the industries from financial services, internet and advertising to law, government and non-profits. She has inspired, motivated and helped thousands of professionals from organizations such as American Express, Discover Financial, Monster Worldwide, UJA-Federation of New York, the United States Army and many more through her high-energy, high-impact workshops and coaching programs.
Deborah’s unique, energetic and results-driven style combines her background and experience in behavioral and cognitive psychology, adult learning, presentation skills, group facilitation and improvisational comedy. At 17, Deborah became the National Champion in Original Oratory while serving as President of New York City’s elite Stuyvesant High School Speech and Debate Team. Deborah went on to train young public speakers during the summers while she herself attended college at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor, earning a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. While earning her Master’s Degree in Social Work at Columbia University, Deborah performed stand-up and improvisational comedy at New York’s top comedy clubs, including Caroline’s and The Comic Strip.
Deborah has spoken at conferences for the American Society of Training and Development and Training Magazine. Deborah was awarded membership into the exclusive National Speakers Association, and is a credentialed, certified member of the International Coach Federation. In addition, Deborah is a graduate of Coach University, has completed additional coursework at the Coaches Training Institute (CTI), and is a certified DiSC® Behavioral Inventory trainer and coach.
Deborah and her husband Michael are the proud parents of 8-year old twins, Jacob and Sophie.
